They are seeking to appoint a Nebosh General or Nebosh Construction qualified Health and Safety Advisors to work on a project across the UK. The role is based from West London therefore you must be able to commute regularly to the office with the rest of the time either out in the field visiting clients sites or based at home.
You must have excellent knowledge of Construction Health & Safety including fit-out as you will lead Health & Safety on a multi million pound, multi site programme covering UK wide locations. You will be setting standards, auditing contractors, producing statistics and supporting project staff.

| Looking for an environmentally degree qualified Environmental and Sustainability manager for one of our prestige construction clients to sit strategically overseeing environmental compliance on all of their projects monitoring and implementing sustainability strategy (carbon reduction commitment, waste and energy management) and where possible increasing sustainability revenue streams into the company. Previous construction industry experience is not essential but a proven track record delivering sustainability strategy in commercial environments is. The successful applicant will hold some form of environmental degree and preferably have experience of BREEAM (BRE Environmental Assessment Method) to assist the design team where possible. The company have offices all over the UK so location is not an issue however mainland UK is preferred as you will initially be acting in a hands on capacity visiting multiple sites to assess the scope and level of work needed to produce a comprehensive environmental and sustainability programme. In the long term the role will sit strategically at senior management level with line management responsibilities but that could be between 6 and 12 months in the future. You will work on a wide and varied portfolio of projects so previous experience managing several CDM projects at one time would be extremely useful as the mix of projects will encompass refurb and new build projects. This is a really varied role and you will carry out site safety visits, attend client visits, issue F10’s and much more. The role offers a salary up to £30,000 with a company car or allowance (as there is extensive travel with the role) and full benefits package including pension and life insurance. The role will be UK wide visiting all of their off-shore sites, and will making sure that all related activities are carried out in a safe manner, i.e. helicopter and boat transfers to the offshore facilities, and operational activities on vessels, barges and turbines. Experience of working in the renewable sector is highly advantageous.
Candidate’s must have demonstrable experience of working on large scale projects in the following sector(s); Construction, Civil Engineering, Mechanical & Electrical (M&E), and/or High Voltage (HV). On top of this, the main requirements for the role include; good CDM knowledge, lifting plans and working at heights experience, and good working knowledge of both ISO 9001 and OHSAS 18001.
