You will manage the group function with line management responsibilities over divisional HSE managers already in post so previous experience in a similar role is essential preferably for a principal contractor. | A global food manufacturing client is looking to recruit an experienced SHE manager with a minimum of a NEBOSH general certificate for a large manufacturing site based in the Manchester area. Reporting into the head of operations you will manage your own diary and work autonomously to ensure the site is compliant with all relevant SHE requirements and that corporate SHE requirements are implemented across the site. You will have a massive input regarding SHE strategy, identifying key areas of work and delivering a comprehensive and coherent SHE strategy. In the longer term you will also look at food safety and environmental issues looking at waste recycling and energy management. Previous experience within food manufacturing would be extremely beneficial as preference will be given to candidates from that industry however the client will consider CVs of candidates from similar manufacturing industries. This is a large single site role overseeing H&S for over 800 people so extensive experience in a similar role is essential. The client will look to pay a salary up to £38,000 with an extensive benefits package including pension, private healthcare and much more. |

| A prestige construction client is looking to recruit an experienced site based H&S advisor with a NEBOSH Construction certificate and at least 5 years construction experience for an 18 month project based in the Warrington area. The project has a large RC (reinforced concrete) and rail element so previous experience within these disciplines would be extremely beneficial as would industrial build project experience. You will undertake all site based H&S including tool box talks, inductions, risk assessments and permits to work ensuring HSE compliance is met daily. The project will last in excess of 12 months and is paid on a salaried basis up to £35,000. The successful applicant will be extremely proactive, have lots of drive and enthusiasm and have the ability to communicate well with all site based staff ensuring full HSE buy in from all clients both internally and externally. |
