Health and Safety Advisor - North West

Health & Safety Advisor | East / West Midlands | Permanent | £40,000 - £45,000 + CA + package 

Due to business growth my client requires a proactive Health and Safety Advisor to take responsibility for sites across the North West. You will need a proactive and positive approach to join a residential construction client who are driven by quality and professionalism,  not only in the property they build but in their approach to the continued development of a positive safety culture.  Reporting to the Regional Health and Safety Manager, current significant new build house and apartments around the Staffordshire & Derbyshire region.

This is an operational ‘hands on’ multiple site-based role and you will have the strength of character to maintain consistency of compliance with the operational teams, providing a positive and supportive message across the projects. Engagement and coaching are key to the success of this role you will need to be a Health and Safety Advisor who can hit the ground from day one.

Essential Requirements include:

• Similar role held as a Health and Safety Advisor
• Qualified with minimum NEBOSH Construction Certificate or NCRQ equivalent 
• Achieved a minimum Tech IOSH status already, preferably working towards GradIOSH.
• Extensive residential build project compliance experience / construction build background
• Experience of pre-construction phase planning
• Effective and collaborative relationship skills working with site teams at all levels
• Full UK Driving license

Desirable Requirements:

• Level 6 diploma level
• Behavioural Safety Coaching experience
