Health & Safety Advisor - New Build Construction - South West

Health & Safety Advisor | Bristol or Gloucester | Permanent | £45,000 - £50,000 + Car + package

Bristol OR Gloucester would be ideal home location for travel across the M5 corridor, South West & South Wales Region.

Our client is a company with some good news in these negative times and positive plans to continue expanding through 2021.

You will need a proactive and positive approach to join a residential construction client who are driven by quality, not only in the property they build but in their approach to a positive safety culture.  Reporting to the Regional Health and Safety Manager, Current significant new build house and apartment developments span the Somerset, South Wales, Gloucestershire, and some of the West Midlands.

This is a ‘hands on’ multiple site-based role and you will have the strength of character to maintain consistency of compliance with the operational teams, providing a positive and supportive message across the projects.

Essential Requirements include:

• Qualified with minimum NEBOSH Construction Certificate or NCRQ equivalent 
• Achieved a minimum Tech IOSH status already, preferably working towards GradIOSH.
• Extensive residential build project compliance experience / construction build background
• Experience of pre-construction phase planning
• Effective and collaborative relationship skills working with site teams at all levels
• Full UK Driving license

Desirable Requirements:

• Level 6 diploma level
• Behavioural Safety Coaching experience
