London & M25 projects / Surrey office base 

This Health and Safety Advisor opening will provide real career scope joining an expanding Facilities Management organisation with responsibility for driving a positive safety culture across multiple soft and hard FM services within the London and M25 region.

The role is open due to company acquisition and will part of a successful national safety team.

The position reports to the HSEQ Director and no two days will be the same!  Diverse client base includes social housing and educational clients with some commercial projects too.

‘Ideal’ Requirements include:

  • Experience working in either social housing, support services, facilities management, property maintenance, estate management, building services, grounds maintenance or construction environments
  • NEBOSH Diploma or working towards
  • GradIOSH level or working towards 
  • Experience of multiple site operations
  • Experience of Management Systems ISO 45001, 9001 and 14001 
  • Competent in report writing, providing statistics and presentations 
  • Must be able to demonstrate experience of successfully influencing operational teams
  • Strength of character and diplomacy skills; working collaboratively with site management teams and clients but able to challenge and sell benefits of objective when appropriate. 
  • Effective Training skills
  • Full UK driving license is essential

‘Desirable’ Requirements:

  • Experience working within a high turnover, low margin organisation

Package includes:

  • Base salary £40k - £50k (depending on qualifications and experience)
