South London / Surrey base with SE Travel 

This is the opportune time to join an expanding ‘built environment’ commercial group; due to expansion they are now seeking an additional member to join their Facilities Management SHEQ team.

The role will be based in South London but offers diversity of site visits. These are mainly based in the London area including housing and educational clients with some commercial projects too.

Reporting to the Health and Safety Director you will become part of a successful and proactive national SHEQ Team. 

‘Ideal’ Requirements include:

  • GRAD IOSH status is the ideal (TECHIOSH Acceptable with the right multi site experience) 
  • NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent is the ideal (NEBOSH General or equivalent may be acceptable with the right FM safety experience) 
  • Experience working in either support services, facilities management, property maintenance, estate management, building services, grounds maintenance, social housing or construction environments
  • Experience of Management Systems ISO 45001, 9001 and 14001 
  • Multi site / Multi project experience 
  • Competent in report writing, providing statistics and presentations 
  • Must be able to demonstrate experience of successfully influencing operational teams
  • Strength of character and diplomacy skills; working collaboratively with site management teams and clients but able to challenge and sell benefits of objective when appropriate. 
  • Effective Training skills
  • Experience of multi-site operations
  • Full UK driving license is essential

‘Desirable’ Requirements:

  • Electrical and Fire safety qualifications
  • Experience of integrating processes and bringing consistency following company acquisitions
