Are you an innovative and forward thinking HSEQ Manager? Fantastic opportunity for a dedicated and committed Health Safety Quality and Environmental Manager to join a successful award-winning support services company supporting well known household names across the South of England.  This home-based role will find you mostly working in the field with the occasional requirement to visit an Essex based Head Office.

Working proactively with the Director of Safety and Operational Managers the successful candidate will be instrumental in leading, promoting and inspiring a strong a positive safety culture across this successful business.  Leading by example the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring ISO systems are compliant and in line with contract specifications. 

Previous Rail experience is essential and the successful candidate  will be responsible for ensuring ISO standards are aligned and in keeping with contract specifications and compliance.  Previous experience of working with a service or support services industry would be advantageous including : working at height, hand arm vibration, waste management, ground vegetation clearance, arboriculture, track safety, street-works, writing of safety alerts, tool box talks, and development of safety training are advantageous.

Key responsibilities will include

  • Championing of behavioural safety improvements and upholding safe systems of work
  • Engagement with development of risk management preventative systems
  • Accident investigation reporting 
  • Work closely with all stake holders and teams delivering client services
  • Ensuring compliance across all teams and providing advice and guidance

The successful candidate will require a minimum of a Nebosh General and or NCRQ equivalent qualification and be either holding or working towards Nebosh Diploma.  Ideally Tech or GradIOSH Evidence of CPD is desirable too. Essentially previous Rail experience and ensuring alignment of ISO Standards.
