£40,000 - £48,000 + Oyster Travel paid

Are you an enthusiastic and proactive consultant who can help to raise the benchmark of Health and safety and bring new and fresh ideas?

A dynamic and forward-thinking Health and Safety Consultancy have an exciting opening for an engaging and driven Lead Health and Safety Consultant to join their growing team within the Built Environment Division supporting their London based clients. On occasion there will be opportunity to diversify and support other divisions too - Construction - Waste Management - Recycling.

Essentially you will have a positive ‘can do’ approach with the ability to build strong client relationships and engage others around you to build strong safety cultures within your client portfolio.

The successful Health and Safety Consultant will

• Understand client H&S challenges and be able to support them by coaching and providing practical advice and solutions
• Complete a wide range of risk assessments (including fire risk assessments), identify a range of hazards, and apply knowledge for risk mitigation
• Complete H&S Management Audits for a wide range of companies across multiple industry sectors
• Conduct a wide range of in-house developed H&S Training
• Possess a strong knowledge of H&S management systems
• Manage client accounts, review H&S performance and develop strategies with the proven ability to improve H&S and safety culture within organisations
• Engage, develop, and maintain relationships

Essentially you will need to have

• Minimum 4 years’ experience (2 in consulting) in a similar role with a NEBOSH and or NCRQ Diploma
• GradIOSH membership and working towards CMIOSH
• A desire to inspire, motivate and support others
