An excellent Health & Safety Consultancy, due to an increased workload, are looking for an APS qualified, experienced pre-construction phase plans CDM-Consultant to work from home. Covering a range of clients mainly around North of England with occasional work in other UK locations. This role is ideal for a pre-construction phase plans CDM-Consultant looking to grow their career while improving their work / life balance in a truly excellent company.

The key duties of the CDM Consultant / Principal Designer role are as follows:

  • Act as Principal Designer or Principal Designer Advisor on small to large scale projects.
  • Act as Independent Client Advisor
  • Leading the design risk process through pre-construction
  • Working closely with clients, ensuring they are aware of their duties under CDM regulations
  • Providing advice and guidance on Health & Safety matters
  • Carrying out H&S reviews throughout the design and construction phase of a project

You must have acted as CDM-Consultant, working with pre-construction phase plans and hold NEBOSH Construction Certificate.

Requirements:

  • Minimum NEBOSH Construction qualification or higher in H&S (NEBOSH, NCRQ or equivalent).
  • Proven experience as a pre-construction phase plans CDM-Consultant.
  • IMaPS or higher membership.
  • Full UK driving licence.
