Our well-respected construction client is a building company with some good news in these negative times and growth plans to continue expanding through 2021 and beyond.

They are now looking for an experienced Construction Safety Manager in their new build division to perform a key part in managing risk and developing culture in the Midlands and NW Region as they continue to evolve. 

This organisation really does invest in their staffs’ careers and wellbeing and they already have well-established and effective processes but there remain challenges and the role will play a key part in their drive to continually improve.

Essential Requirements include:

  • Proven credible safety experience at Management level working for a reputable construction contractor.
  • A CV which reflects stability and progressive career movement 
  • Extensive preconstruction project risk management experience
  • Tangible achievements in influencing at Senior Management level
  • Proven effective leadership skills.
  • Capable of implementing strategy and change management.
  • Behavioural safety culture development experience
  • Qualified with minimum NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent related degree or NCRQ level 6.
  • GradIOSH membership level CPD - ideally working towards or achieved CMIOSH.
  • Able to persuade and have collaborative relationship skills working with site teams at all levels.
  • Full UK Driving license

Desirable Requirements:

  • Behavioural Safety Programme Coaching experience
  • Sustainability management experience
  • Residential build project experience.
  • Proactive employee Wellbeing development experience

Potential Package includes:

  • Base salary £58k - £65k
